As we pass the intersection of two blocks just north of our destination we stop to feel a sudden change—a noticeable breeze envelops and cools us. This is where the terroir of Tomahawk begins. We look back north and note that the warmer Palisades are now in the far distance.We walk up to the first row of vines and their broad cordons appear powerful and serene.
