At Chimney Rock we have found that all the Bordeaux grapes thrive in our Stags Leap District Estate, so we couldn’t resist planting two rows of Malbec in 2016. We are delighted with the results and honoring the history of the estate, bottled our first “Line Drive” Malbec last year. We hope you enjoy this beautiful expression of a relatively rare grape in the Stags Leap District! Age this beauty for 10-12 years.COLOR: Deep inky purple
AROMA: Aromas of blueberry, fresh-baked cherry pie, mulberry jam dance around this fruit driven Malbec along with some slight hints of violets.
FLAVOR: This is an easy-going, yet structured, fruit-forward wine with round silky tannins and a very charismatic personality
