Description
If you were to travel in time to Napa Valley hundreds of years ago, and you found yourself on the land that is now Chimney Rock you would likely catch a glimpse of the Wappo or Onasati Indians in the hills above, hunting for their subsistence in the sites which are now known as Arrowhead and Tomahawk Vineyard. They were one with the land and we try to emulate their respect and reverence for nature in everything we do. It was in their honor that these vineyards were named.The gentle slope of Arrowhead vineyard is just a few feet north of our acclaimed Tomahawk vineyard. In character this wine is as brave as the people who once inhabited this land: bright and graceful, persistent and memorable. Enjoy this spirited ode to our history.
COLOR: Deep velvet red
AROMOA: This wine is very expressive with aromas of black cherry, mocha, with hints of vanilla and clove.
FLAVOR: On the palate this wine is medium-bodied, silky and supple with lots of freshness and bright acidity in its long finish.
