At Chimney Rock we treasure our hillside vineyards for the perspective they bring. A strenuous walk to the top of Cardiac Hill where we grow our Clone 7 single vineyard has many rewards. The warmer temperature at the crest, the view of the Palisades and the sight of the small grapevines at the top which produce wines of heightened complexity and power, remind us that the site where wine is grown is truly important.Aroma: Aromas of black cherry, vanilla, clove with hints of tobacco and toffee
Flavor: Full bodied with muscular and round tannins and a rich mid palate and supple finish
