Our Elevage Blanc blend challenges the traditional
expectation of white wine, with its age-worthiness
and transcendent complexity.
In 2002, Tony Terlato tasked us with developing a white wine
that was of the same caliber of our well known proprietary red
Elevage. Our winemaking team jumped on the project with
equal passion. We obsessed over grape variety, barrel types,
fermentation techniques – everything to produce
the best white blend possible. Today, we use a diverse set of
techniques including whole cluster pressing, various yeasts
including native, barrel fermentation, and “sur lies” aging and stirring in
order to create a wine which is rich, versatile and that stands
the test of time.

The 2021 growing season started as a classic drought year, and what we thought would be an early harvest. We had lower than average rainfall during the winter, and not a drop of rain from April through October. More moderate weather in August and September allowed us to wait for great flavor development and a later finish than we expected. Although yields were lower, quality was incredible with lots of color, concentration and beautiful aromatics.
Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
This wine dances with aromas of fresh peach and apricots along with hints of passion fruit, vanilla, and caramel. The front palate shows loads of stone fruit, followed by a rich and viscous mid-palate with a long a bright finish.
